Wood Tile

Add the natural style of wood to kitchens and bathrooms with wood look tile

Tile That Looks Like Wood

Hardwood can add unique style and character to any home setting, but unfortunately it’s not a suitable option for kitchens, bathrooms, and other rooms in moisture. If you do want to add wood looks to these areas, we at Benjamin’s Carpet One recommend choosing wood tile. What exactly is wood tile?

To put it plainly, wood tile is real tile that looks like wood. It is available in real-size planks that look like authentic wood planks, and some options are even textured so that they feel like wood. Nonetheless, wood tile may have a wood appearance, but it functions like a regular tile. It’s totally waterproof, and it the grout can be sealed to protect against spills and stains. At the same time, wood tile will always remain strong, stable, and relatively cool to the touch.

As you can imagine, wood tile, because of its premium water resistance, is perfect for kitchens and bathrooms. It can be installed on floors for a hardwood-like appearance, and it can even be used on walls. In addition, ceramic wood tile is suitable for custom showers and baths! So, if you truly want to a unique kitchen or bathroom setting, be sure to take a close look at wood tile.

For outdoor settings, we recommend choosing porcelain tile instead of ceramic. Porcelain is freeze thaw stable, so it can handle tough weather conditions. Also, porcelain is stronger than ceramic, so it’s better-suited for commercial applications.

As part of our tile selection, we offer a few different wood look tile options. One of our favorites is Happy Floors Bellagio. Bellagio tiles are available in 12”x24” planks, 24”x24” squares, and 12”x12” mosaics for walls and backsplashes. There are four different wood looks available, including forest, sand, light, and silver. Click here to download the Bellagio brochure.

We also offer tile flooring from Daltile, Emser Tile, Bedrosians, and Surface Art.
